david jones: i believe you need google chrome or firefox to post? or some sort of compatibility mode for ie. not too sre, hopefully someone who knows better can point you in the right direction, but would love to see your response.

the entire time i was gone it was nagging at me.
i hadn't been previously baptized, so leaving wasn't that big a deal.

my mom's kh was built last year with a loan from wts.
she was talking about a letter to all congregations with loans from wts.
the letter was asking the publishers how much they can pay towards a refinance.
is there any language in the letters that says the title is not signed over to the watchtower society if the loans are paid on time or whatever?
if there is, then technically they could run the same sort of manipulative scams that played a part in the housing crisis.
that would probably be part of the reason why the costs go up soooo high, if the costs skyrocket and the congregation can't pay it (which from the sounds of things many probably couldn't) then the wtbts would have some nice new property.

it's basically this old story about these "shapes" that live in a 2 dimensional universe and they try to teach the "lines" in the one-dimensional universe what shapes like squares and triangles are, bt the "lines" can't understand what 2-dimensions are. a sphere from the 3-dimensional universe visits the 2dimensional universe and tries to teach the squares and triangles what things like spheres and cubes are. of course the 2d shapes couldn't understand what cubes and spheres were because they couldn't conceive 3 dimensions.
i'm kinda at a point where i'm an atheist, but i like to wonder...how do you "see" in 4 dimensions? what would 5 dimensions be like? 6? 7? it's inconceivable as we are 3 dimensional objects.
